It was nothing short of another disappointing season for the New York Knicks that saw them miss the playoffs for a fourth consecutive year.
Despite the on-court struggles, ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne is reporting that the Knicks have officially decided to pick up the final two years of the five-year deal with team president Phil Jackson.
In fact, it is believed that New York had already come to that conclusion a few months ago. The entirety of Jackson’s contract is worth $12 million.
But before you brush this off as just another has-been coach's career coming to an end consider that this is the same man that helped shape the game of the greatest player to ever grace us with his presence.
